I’m tackling the next stage of my Porsche restoration by rebuilding the chrome window frames.

I start by removing the old, stubborn furry channel that's been glued in place for 60 years, then systematically disassemble the frame piece by piece.

It wasn’t that easy…along the way, I encounter corroded screws, sheared brass fasteners and ancient rubber seals.

Now that the frame is completely disassembled, the real work begins: polishing the chrome and rebuilding it all.
