Laya is a tiny open decision model model: you download it and train it with your own examples and it can rival a cloud frontier model like Jev.

- My test: thousands of old support conversations, and it learned which of 30 tools an agent should pick
- Unlike an agent's tool call, it gives you a probability, so you can send unsure requests to a person and let confident ones run automatically
- Almost on par with Jev, it runs locally on your own GPU, it's much faster for small requests, and your data never leaves your machine
