YOUR JOB IS NOW TRAINING AI TO REPLACE YOU!

Your work could be becoming training data for the AI systems companies hope will automate more jobs.

Clicks, keystrokes, screenshots, emails, Slack messages, workflows and everyday employee behavior are increasingly valuable data — and workplace surveillance is becoming a much bigger part of the future of work.

In this video, we're looking at AI workplace surveillance, employee monitoring, productivity tracking, corporate data collection, layoffs, bizarre hiring standards and some increasingly strange CEO advice.

Because apparently surviving a round of layoffs is now considered a hiring signal.
A highly qualified candidate can lose an $80,000 job because of a crease in his shirt.
Executives want cameras turned on during virtual meetings so they can watch reactions and “engagement.”

And people are apparently using AI-generated images of smiling employees carrying boxes out of the office while discussing thousands of layoffs.

At some point, this stops looking like ordinary workplace management and starts looking like companies trying to collect, measure and monetize every possible piece of employee behavior.

And when AI systems can learn from those workflows, an uncomfortable question starts appearing:

Are employees helping train the technology that could eventually automate parts of their own jobs?

What do you think? Where should companies draw the line with employee monitoring — keystrokes, screenshots, Slack messages, cameras, or none of it?
