More than linear actuator..

Custom machining was never the expensive part. Starting from scratch on design was.

What you're looking at here is all custom: bag openers, part sorters, feeders, test fixtures, pick-and-place systems. Different facilities, different products, different problems. For years every one of them meant a fresh design cycle. Every bracket, every plate, every layout, every motion program drawn from scratch, because the last machine's parts never fit the next one.

That's annoying on job one. By job twenty it starts to become an existential crisis. You are not paying for the hard engineering at that point, you are paying to re-solve the basic configuration problem in a slightly different orientation.

So we pivoted. We picked the parts of a machine that should never change again and locked in: the motion, the structure it bolts to, and the interfaces for the tooling. Same actuator family, same mounting faces, same electrical and controls conventions, regardless of the job.

What stays custom is the part that should be: the tooling, the process, the end effector, the thing that's unique to your product. The foundation underneath it is boring on purpose.

That is the backstory behind what we build now.
Where is customization costing you?
