Midjourney for beginners in 2026 looks a lot different than it did even a year ago, and that's a good thing. It started as a Discord-only tool. Now you can go straight to Midjourney.com and use the full website. The models are faster. The images default to 2K resolution. And a new feature called Omni Reference finally solves the old problem of asking for the same character twice and getting something totally different. Think of AI like a brand new employee you just hired. It is brilliant. It is eager to help. But it usually has amnesia, forgetting what it made for you five minutes ago. Omni Reference is Midjourney finally giving that employee a memory. That matters if you are building a brand, a book, or a series and need the same look every time. It still is not free. It starts around ten dollars a month. But for the quality it produces, I think it's worth trying. Lead with AI. Not against it. Tools like this prove you can create without a design degree.
