In this walkthrough, I show you two new features in Koala Sampler’s Samurai add-on: Pitch Bend and Perform FX automation.

I’ll record pitch bends in keyboard mode, then open the automation editor to draw and edit them. You’ll see how snapping, steps, moving points, and undo work before I use pitch bend on a bass line.

Then I’ll record Perform FX into a sequence, switch between automation lanes, and use steps with the Ring effect to make a glitchy pattern.
