I handed GPT-6 Astra my raw 75 minute recording and let it edit the whole thing inside DaVinci Resolve 21.1, through the new MCP server Blackmagic just shipped. Not computer use, not a cursor clicking around the screen. I did not touch the timeline.

It ran the transcription, put the program and the screen share on separate video tracks, cut 75 minutes down to 22 across 96 edits, picked 10 screen share cutaways on its own, built a lower third, graded the footage, checked the loudness against YouTube's target and rendered the finished 4K file.

I have been a Premiere user for the best part of two decades. This is the first time an AI agent has driven a real NLE end to end for me. It is also slower than every demo you have seen, and I show you exactly where.
