Ever wondered if you can trust AI to plan your next outdoor adventure? Today I am putting ChatGPT to the test at Nerang National Park on the Gold Coast to find some mysterious majestic rocks. It turns out that a short and sweet hike can quickly turn into a Blair Witch style mission when your digital guide leads you astray.

In this video, I explore the beautiful eucalyptus forests and wide dirt tracks of the Nerang hinterland. I run into some incredible Australian wildlife, including a very fit-looking wallaby, and attempt to navigate trails that seem to disappear into the bush. From doubting my navigation skills to trekking through what I call troll territory, this journey was definitely more about the adventure than the destination.

I eventually find the rocks, but the discovery comes with a hilarious realization about the actual path I should have taken.
