The Chinese company LimX Dynamics just shared footage of its TRON 2 dual-arm robot integrated with an industrial robotic arm.

The TRON 2 multi-form-factor robot has gone viral in the past for its modular design that can transform into a humanoid, a quadruped, or even be combined into a centaur.

In the industrial setup, TRON 2 is mounted onto a traditional robotic arm to extend its reach. It uses a custom attachment to hold and operate a power drill and nailer to assemble wooden frames and panels. It then applies spray finishing.

The TRON 2 is priced starting around $7,000 in China but international pricing begins around $13,000.

Shenzhen-based LimX is scaling production of its TRON platform, along with its full-sized humanoid robot Oli, and its sister, Luna, after securing around $400 million so far in 2026. Valued at $2.2 billion, it's one of many Chinese robotics startups racing toward a public listing.
