Companies are writing ads directly into the corpus AI systems read as neutral knowledge. The technique is called answer engine optimization: plant posts that look like honest users on Reddit, let ChatGPT and Google AI Search scrape them, and watch your marketing get repeated back in the machine's calm, authoritative voice.
