This is a quick compositing breakdown of a shot from Danse Macabre, directed by Hisko Hulsing, who also had-painted all backgrounds.

We handled the final compositing in Fusion to seamlessly blend his 2D artwork with a stylized AI pass processed through Stable Diffusion and TVPaint and based on Blender-renders from Autour de Minuit’s animation department.
